Pacific Rim is a promotional booklet to poster and the title of Guillermo Del Toro’s sci-fi action film about mankind using giant mecha robots (Jaegers) to defeat monster creatures (Kaijus) to save humanity.
This was a typographic experiment designed to express the energy of that world and get a better understanding of the history behind Japanese pop culture and the director's influences for the making of the film.
